The St. Joseph Society for the Propagation of the Word was formed in 2005 by a group of people dedicated to a cause. Our mission is to spread the knowledge of the Word of God, to transmit the Word and carry it forward. We have chosen Fr. O’Bryan’s works as the cornerstone of our endeavor. The “pearl of great price” is slowly revealed through a multi-year Catholic bible study of the New Testament written by Fr. James P. O’Bryan, S.T. He has also written other works which call us to discipleship by engendering a Christ oriented relationship through a better understanding of the Word. We will make these materials available to the general public in as many formats as possible and at a cost as low as possible so that the Word of God may, indeed, multiply and be carried forward. Our initial effort will be a worldwide website dedicated to the preservation and continual formation of the Catholic bible study for laity or religious. This is becoming a reality at www.invitetodiscipleship.org. Through this format we intend to strive for implementation of real time online studies.
