THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES
$50
The Teacher’s Edition contains the complete text of 22 one hour sessions (give or take a few minutes) covering the Acts of the Apostles. Written by St. Luke, Acts is a chronicle of the missionary activities of the Apostles after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. In Acts we are introduced to St. Paul, who played an integral part in the development of the early Church, and provides us with the ultimate model for missionaries. Fr. James P. O’Bryan, S.T. explains the significance of those activities to the Christians of today.
$25
The CD set for the Gospel of St. John covers all 22 lectures printed in the Teacher’s Edition. Most lectures are the original “Father O’Bryan” presentations, converted from cassette tapes. Great for reviewing the study matter; many groups use the CD’s to present the materials at their Bible study sessions. Available only in English.
$20
The Student Edition (Meditations) contains a 4-6 page synopsis of each of the 22 lectures in the Teacher’s Edition. Each lesson consists of assigned readings and daily questions to answer in prayerful meditation during the week. These questions and answers, shared in a group in the Presence of the Holy Spirit, form the basis of our call to discipleship. Available in English or Spanish.
